The EXPERTISE ENGAGEMENT

Turn what you know into an asset that attracts fresh leads

Three Steps

Step 1

Excavation

Six interviews. I ask, you talk, I map. We go after the decisions you make without thinking, the patterns you've seen a hundred times, and the things you believe that you've never said out loud. By session three, the shape of your method is visible on the page.
Step 2

The Spine

The structure, built together. Not chapters for a publisher — chapters that follow the logic of how you actually work. Who you are → what you see → how you do it → why it matters. This is where the framework starts to appear, because a structure is a framework whether you call it one or not.
Step 3

The Writing

Biweekly calls. You write between them. We read what's on the page, find where the thinking is still fuzzy, and sharpen it. You do the writing. I guide the thinking.

You can't extract IP by asking for it.

Ask an experienced creative to describe their method and you get a list of services. Ask them to write eighty pages about it and the method has nowhere to hide. That's what this is. The book is the excavation tool. Your IP is what comes out.

What it is

A guided book-writing process, over six to nine months. We interview you until your method is on the table. We structure it into a book you could publish. You write it, with me reading every chapter and pushing on the thinking until it holds. What emerges isn't only a manuscript. It's the named framework underneath it, the thing you've been doing for twenty years without a word for it, on one page, in a sequence you can teach, sell and defend.

Why it's needed

Positioning says you can think. This proves it. Without a named model, "strategy" is a word on your website. With one, it's a thing a client can buy — and a thing no competitor can copy, because it came out of your career rather than a framework you licensed. Most creatives at your level are sitting on an asset they've never written down. Every year it stays unwritten, someone with less experience and a clearer explanation gets the work.

How to get started

A short call. Positioning first if you don't have it. A book without a position is a method nobody asked for.

Who it's for

Creatives with ten or more years in, who solve the same problem the same way every time and can't yet explain how.

When the time is right

There are many symptoms that might signal the need for Expertise, including:

You've started the book three times.
You've explained it hundreds of times, yet never written it down.
Someone with half your experience is being quoted as the expert.
"Strategy" is on your website and nowhere else.
You've been asked to speak and had nothing to say.
Your best thinking lives in old decks nobody reads.

What to expect

1. Paperwork

Agreement, NDA and invoice.

2. Materials

Any decks, notes, talks or half-written articles where you've tried to explain how you work. Plus three projects where you'd say the method was visible.

3. Excavation

Six sessions of ninety minutes. Recorded and transcribed. By session three the shape is visible; by session six it has a name.

4. The Spine

We build the structure together. Chapters that follow how you actually work, not how books are usually organised.

5. The Writing

Biweekly calls while you write. Four to six hours a week between them. We read what's on the page and sharpen the thinking.

6. Refinement

Edited for clarity. Not for style. For whether someone who doesn't know you can follow the argument.

7. Integration

How the book and the framework get used. In proposals, in the first conversation, on stage, inside your firm.

8. Publishing

Optional, quoted separately: The final editing and the print production, or recording it as a thought-leader interview, or getting you on a stage with it.

Deliverables

Your publishable Book
80–120 pages. Your method, your evidence, your argument, in a form someone can read on a plane and arrive knowing how you think.

And/or your Named Framework
The model underneath the book, on one page. With a sequence, a reason it works, and a way to explain it in five minutes.

The Language
How to say it in a proposal, on a call, and on a stage. The same idea at three lengths.

Recorded sessions.
Every excavation session recorded and transcribed. The raw material stays yours.
